Our 2019 project: to educate 120 children within the NGO, a successful bet!

Our social project has finally been realized this year and that thanks to you!

Our project was to open a class of 120 children within the NGO, in order to offer them free schooling for one year. After several months of hard work, we can finally tell you that this social and solidarity project has been carried out perfectly. In March 2019, when we went to the SSMI NGO in Delhi, we inaugurated it. Pierre was able to share a moment with the children, the teachers and the parents: a lot of emotions, we don't hide it from you, since we have been working together hand in hand for 4 years now. We evolved together, bringing each other together.

We are developing the sewing workshop within the NGO every day by paying more and more disadvantaged women and training them, but this time we wanted to do more for them. This is why the idea of ​​opening an additional class for 120 children came to us! Thus, the women of the workshop could take their children to school within the NGO, during the day, while they worked in the clothing workshop.

This initiative was very important to us because it was not just a question of helping women, but of helping their families as a whole: being able to offer schooling to their children allowed them, not only, to learn but above all to provide better living conditions for these families. Today, the financial independence of women in India is a hot topic.
