Already a week that we are confined, we hope you are well at home, that you are in good health and that you keep your spirits up. We are also thinking of those who have to work and of course the caregivers.

We are writing to you with a heavy heart to tell you that today more than ever we need you.

We wanted to inform you about the situation in India which is becoming more and more complicated.

The NGO SSMI with which we have been working for 5 years now, has 4 poles: the school, the sewing workshop, health and the food program. Since Monday, following government containment measures, the NGO has had to close its doors.

Given the situation, we have therefore decided to postpone the delivery of orders until the end of confinement. It is a very difficult decision for us as a small company, but the health of the women of the NGO is our priority. Indeed, it is very complicated for us to stop our activity in view of our commitment: 40% of the price goes directly to the disadvantaged women of the NGO. Otherwise, these women are forced to return to the slums, and we do not tolerate that.

This is why we have decided to lower the price of our products throughout the eshop, and in addition to offering you delivery with the code ONGSSMI throughout this period of confinement, in order first of all to thank you for your loyalty for 5 years. , but also in order to devote 100% of our margins to the NGO. If you want to support the NGO without ordering, we have set up a donation platform.

Your orders will therefore be prepared and shipped at the end of the confinement. This allows us to keep our activity to a minimum and to ensure our commitment to these 75 women present in our workshop in Delhi.

This is not good news, but we keep our spirits up and smile! We do it for us, but also and above all for them, who believed in our project and who make Hindbag our brand today.

The impact that the closure of our workshop will have on our small business is unknown but it will be significant, for sure. This is why your help will be essential to us.
