Pour notre nouvelle collection hivernale, nous avons décidé d'opter pour de la laine recyclée, labellisée GRS (Global Recycled Standard).
La fabrication de la laine recyclée commence par la collecte de vêtements en laine usagés. Ces vêtements sont triés pour sélectionner les fibres les plus qualitatives. Ensuite, les fibres sont décomposées mécaniquement en fils fins. Ces fils recyclés sont ensuite prêts à être utilisés pour créer de nouveaux produits en laine, contribuant ainsi à réduire la demande de laine vierge tout en préservant les propriétés naturelles de cette précieuse fibre.
Le label GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certifie la durabilité et l'origine recyclée de notre laine. Ce label est une certification exigeante qui au-delà du recyclage, assure des pratiques durables tout au long de la production, favorisant ainsi la diminution de l'impact environnemental de l'industrie textile.

For our new winter collection, we decided to opt for recycled wool, labeled GRS (Global Recycled Standard).
The production of recycled wool begins with the collection of used wool clothing. These clothes are sorted to select the highest quality fibers. Then the fibers are mechanically broken down into fine threads. These recycled yarns are then ready to be used to create new wool products, helping to reduce the demand for virgin wool while preserving the natural properties of this valuable fiber.
The GRS (Global Recycled Standard) label certifies the sustainability and recycled origin of our wool. This label is a demanding certification which, beyond recycling, ensures sustainable practices throughout production, thus promoting the reduction of the environmental impact of the textile industry.
Ethical manufacturing
All our bags and accessories are manufactured by our Indian NGO partner Swami Sivananda Mamorial Institute (SSMI) which fights for the emancipation of women in an underprivileged neighborhood of DELHI. These women make our textile accessories in exchange for a salary above the country average, which values their skills, continuing training and a place at school for their children.
